In room6 this week we have been doing alto of things and i would like to share some with you ...

Maths

we haven't been doing much maths this week as Mr ratana has been away but there was one game that Mrs Lang gave us to play its called "mouse money making" it is about making money  but there is some set cracks on the board like mouse trap "loose all your balance" you have a description line a money in line a money out line and also a balance line we had a competition who had the most money but some people didn't Read the instructions and were cheating

Writing

in writing this week we have made a procedural piece on writing on how to make a thingy (any thing we want) there was a variate of different things but they all turned out good

First aid

it was our last week of first aid yesterday we learnt how to do CPR on a babe and what to do if they are hurt and at the end we learnt about "sever bleeding"

i was  the lucky one i got to be the person who had  a fake shard of ice in my arm it looks

Hats

we have just got our hats this week and they look god when you walk past the sandpit all you see is a bunch of red heads running around

During this week me and our class have been doing some interesting stuff an i would like to share this with you:
READING:

So far in reading we have be learning about procedural writing and what it looks like , i read a story about chunk chalks it tells you how to make some chunky chalks i liked this story hopefully Mr Ratana lets us make some also in reading we have gust finished a asTTle test i think i did well because i am higher that the standard and i improved some reading groups have also been able to go on the computers and go on there own or other blogs and put comments on them.
MATHS:

In maths we have started to do basic facts they are in this big bag full of questions when we come into class i think the questions are to easy we have also been learning about compasses and how to take bearings,i don't quit have the hag of i yet but im pritty sure i will we also did a test in maths as well yesterday i scored pritty good but if id scanned through first i could have got more .


New teacher:

We have a new student teacher at our school now her name is miss foreman she takes us for P.E she teaches us different ways to run and about conserving our energy really enjoy doing P.E
Room1 when our class (room6) goes to room 1 in the afternoon we learn about kia kaha (be strong) it is a unit about bullies how to stop them and what things we can do to prevent it we also go into the library to learn about first aid i haven't learn't anything yet but i hope we do.

First day at school

Well it has gust been the first day of the term a fresh start we have 2 new pupils now at school all the way from Australia (hope you have a fun time !)
we also have one new person ....... a new teacher called Mrs Foreman she is in room one helping Mrs Bismark with all her new students coming up from room 2 (there big kids now :)
This term we have a few things coming like ag day athlettics and some people are coming in to look at our wonderful school

Ashurst Dog show

On the 25th and 26th of September me and my family went to a dog show at ashurst and i showed a bearded collie
I won: best of breed and best dog but i didn't get a place in group it was really fun .
There was a lady there that offered me to show her dobermans at some other dog shows. There is another dog show at manfield next weekend if you want to come down and have a look.
